Don’t Be Fooled Winter Is Coming!

Posted: 05 December of 2011

Dear Friends,

Texas endured a brutal and scary summer. Parched land, lost crops, wild fires and a “100 year drought” are just one season behind us. Recent rainfall forecasts aren’t too promising either, but one thing is certain, our temperatures are going to occasionally drop below freezing like they always do. So let us help you prepare to be safe, warm and comfortable this winter. First and foremost, please remember to change the batteries in your Carbon Monoxide (“CO”) alarm every time you change them in your smoke detector. If you don’t have both of these in your house, call us for recommendations.

During our Furnace Tune-Up we check for deadly “CO” leaks. If even a tiny one is detected, we take care of it immediately, along with cleaning, lubricating and checking out your system so it’s ready to function properly all season long without a failure, which by the way…

We guarantee your furnace won’t breakdown this winter after we tune it up.**

Save more money by spending a little of it; regularly change your air filters as recommended. Even a little bit of dirt on your filter costs you more for energy than the air filter. That’s right, because if the pressure drop caused by the dirty filter reduces the airflow rate even a little bit, your system has to equally compensate by running longer and maybe even cycling on extra times during the day to maintain the comfortable temperature you set your thermostat at. So change your filters to save money. It turns out that spending a little saves you a lot.

Lastly, we can fix any system so it operates, no matter what its condition. But sometimes multiple repairs are just like throwing out good money after bad. Even then though if anyone ever tells you that you have to replace your system and they don’t explain what all of your options are in easy to understand terms, please give us a call for a second opinion.

Everyone has a right to be treated fairly!
